Craft Show experience

My first craft show experience has taken place - not a great deal of craft purchaser traffic, but I did sell some of my hats.  The first ones to go were any hats made with yarn either spun or dyed by a friend of mine.  Which was great to have happen.

Busy trying to reduce stash, using plenty of left over yarns to make hats - which I sometimes sell as I am wearing them and walking down the street.  Good way to get pin $ (as Dame Maggie refers to film making).  Working on some expamples for an improvisational hat class I am going to teach at my local yarn shoppe in early 2005.

If I can get through some of my older stash, I can then tackle the yarn I purchased from Art Fibers in SF last January.  Bought enough alpaca/wool blend to make a sweater.  What a fun place to visit.  Every east coast knitter had emphasized to me not to miss it.  Also enjoyed meeting Helen at Urban Knitter; and came across Imagiknits one night while stalking the wild aspargus.  Picked up plenty of Lorna Laces sock yarn.  Had to have the dyelot Mineshaft in homage to all the years I had lived in NYC.
