Hello everybody,
It has been a while since I have posted anything, but I have been knitting a lot. I have been knitting a lot and currently have about 4 projects in the works.

I performed in a new work on April 19th in NYC. Composer Jobina Tinnemans' Killing Time for knitters and ensemble (World Premiere MATA commission).

I made a pair of socks. They aren't anything special, just worsted weight for warmth, Caron acrylic, sensible grey. I have put off making socks since I started knitting in 2010, but now I have overcome that hurdle. They aren't my best work, but I'm proud that I finished them both and they fit! Maybe I'll even get brave enough to use sock yarn one of these days.

Lucy has ask me to pass along to MWK that she now has an on line tuition with Craftsy.com. Its launch was on this past Wed and is available for half price. She is teaching the ins and outs of Double Knitting in this Tutorial. Have a look and let Lucy know what you think.

Here are some photos of the man-shawl I just finished last week -- Earth & Sky by Stephen West. Knitted up on size 6 circulars with DK weight Shepherd's Wool (Seabreeze, Frosty Blue, and White).

Everyone loves getting presents but as a fiber artist, I’ve discovered a world of gifts that I never imagined. These are the gifts of potential.

Found a few online Apps useful for making knitting charts and patterns
For drawing free form charts:

For converting Pictures to charts:

had a different link for knitPro, but i like this one better
For basic sweater pattern generator:
Inbetween major projects right now, thought I would try something new... 2 color double knit.
Nothing too big a keychain fob, for my utility knife at work, (hate digging in my back pocket when it falls sideways, to replace the I-cord loop currently on it)
