Hi all,
I'll be back in the US for a month or so, including 5 days in New York (Oct 6-9), about 10 days in N. Arkansas (Oct 10-19), and 12 days in Seattle (Oct. 20-November 1). Anybody in those places? I'm also wondering about good yarn stores in New York since I'll have plenty of free time there (though it will be jet-lagged time, what the heck).

I had planned to post yesterday. It was on my list of to do items for my first day off work. Yes, every Thursday morning in the quiet hours of work I tend to sit and make my list of "stay awake" projects. But somehow I had forgotten that I had scheduled myself some afternoon training appointments.

since we don't yet know the baby's gender, I went rather neutral in colors except for just a splash for the parents - so it's not just about the kid.
it was fun and can't wait to make another!
I have been knitting up a storm. I have attached a picture of a big dishtowel I am knitting, and 5 dishcloths that I have knitted (2 are not blocked and 3 are). Any way the dishcloths are just done in a garter stitch and I am sure you are all familiar with them.

Well, for knitters. I worked on a new scarf and a totally new pattern I created while flying to Chicago.
Enjoy.
Here's the pattern...

A couple of months, 2 1/4 skeins, 29,060 stitches later, I finished this beastie!
It's about 72" across and 36" long.

Well, I'm among the living and decided to post.

UPDATE - I'm done for the day, but more updates will be happening through the week. Here are the known issues:
- Image Galleries are currently disabled, though can you still attach images to your posts.
- Private Messages are in the database, but not being displayed. I'm working on it!
- Some areas of look/feel are still in flux, but most should be subtle.
Please reply to this thread if you notice anything else that's broken and I'll take a look. Thanks for your patience and please let me know if I can be of any help!

Okay-!
Three skeins and a few gazillion stitches later, I'm ready to cast of my "Vernal Equinox" shawl! YAY!
