Uuuugggghhhh! Thanks to a busy end of year and tax season, picked up my knitting needles for the first time since Thanksgiving! I can't believe it has been so long.

I just started knitting a couple months ago and started with knitting socks for my daughter. I enjoy knitting socks and have almost completed a pair for myself.

I just got a KnitPicks Harmony 40" circular needle in 3mm [the larger US2] last night.

It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

Please educate me on this pattern I am about to start on soon...Im trying to find the needle size, but cant see anywhere on the pattern where it is....I found one spot where I think it could be...and

Every month or so I get a list of recommended titles from my local library. One of the titles this time is “Yarn”. Here's the blurb.

Soo.. I have two skeins of yarn that apparently have no destination yet (mentioned in a previous blog entry).. I DESPERATELY need a new project.

I finished the second pair of slippers and I am very pleased to have found a size that fits well and that I enjoyed knitting it more than my first pair. It does get easier!

Well, my dogs did. Aren't they good kids? They bought me a spinning wheel! What good dogs I have, even if they don't know it.
