Hello Gentlemen!

you fellow knitters. I have been busy with Christmas projects and getting ready for Christmas as many of you are as well so I haven't been on line in a while. I have made several pairs of socks, and am now working on a pair of pink socks for my partner's brother's while. I will post pictures as soon as I can. May the peace and true meaning of Christmas be with you all :)

Just finished blocking my scarf. This is knitted from my own hand spun yarn.
Pattern is called Wind Power, by Freshisle Fibers.

Hi everyone & happy holidays! I am trying to finish a hat as a present but am a little confused with the decrease stitch instructions. It is the Jacque Cousteau hat. Here are the directions:
"The decreases are KKS (Knit-knit-slip= knit two stitches and then slip the first of these two over the second"

May all of you have a Blessed and Merry Christmas, and A Prosperous New Year.
Good Tidings to all of you.
Bill

Happy Holidays Knitters...
See you in 2012...

Hi Guys----
I will be in the DC area for the President's Day weekend. I am looking for some LYS that I can visit. Does anyone have any recommendations? Also if it fits your schedule, would like to meet for coffee. I'll be free Sunday evening and all day Monday.
Steven

Hi Guys,
I am doing 2 scarves at once, a reversible cable scarf and this new fangled scarf that spirals. I am having a problem understanding short rows. The pattern is all knit stitch (THANK THE KNITTING GODS) but I am not understanding how to read the pattern. The pattern reads as follows:
K20, turn, leave rem 5 sts unworked
