I’ve started a sock with a 100% cotton yarn (Sugar and Cream by Lily). I’m doing it top down and I’m 2 or 3 inches into the 2x2 ribbing. And I'm finding that when I stretch out the ribs they stay kind of stretched out instead of snapping back like the wool socks do. Is this going to be a problem? Will they stay up or pool at the tops of my shoes? And what about shrinkage?

Here is my first sweater i knitted - took four months, but I finished! i am really happy with the results, and it was perfect to wear today as the weather has turned chilly.

I have almost finished a sweater for my neighbourboy in Mexico (it still needs buttons) and with the left over Paton's Shetland Chunky I made a hat for Miguel. I used it double on size 8mm needle. It is a Canadian touque of 2x2 ribbing and is really thick. The second I made from a pattern in "Hats On" by Charlene Schurch. She calls it Norwegian Star. It was fun to do and quick.

Ok so i've spent the past couple days doing something i hate, weaving in end tails. Man oh man did this hoodie have a lot of them...

Any tips for weaving in ends, i always get stuck with a little piece that is to short to tuck in anywhere...

Do you guys just leave it or fasten it with sewing thread or something...
