I'm trying to block the back piece of a sweater. It's a 100% wool yarn. After soaking it in lukewarm soapy water, rinsing, and squeezing as much water out of it, I lay it out on a towel.

I want to thank all of you for the kind words, encouragement, donations of any size, and especially, for the love.

I was doing some research to find some charities for projects that I knit. I found the following sight that lists many places that would be happy to have some knitted work.

Sorry for the bad pun...
Here are two sweet purses that I knit and gave as Christmas gifts! http://loomdude.blogspot.com/2011/02/two-loom-knit-purses.html

Someone has gotten smart enough to start a pints and purls group near me (within walking distance) Currently meeting at a local brew pub (the beer is GOOD). My first public knit outing :).

Just tought i would upload a photo of my latest, may i say FINISHED project. I started it 3 days ago and finished the last seam this morning - quickest item i have ever knitted!!!

I'm not sure if any of you I've corresponded with over the years on this site knew how bad things had gotten.

Techknitter has just posted a very good article about adapting patterns to fit men.

So this little guy was worked up while avoiding the freezes in south Georgia. Kinda cute, kinda reminds me of an old fashioned farm toy. Now, if I could only knit a tractor....
Here's a rug I just finished. I found the pattern in book of knitting in the round patterns. It was rather mindless, but that's what I wanted.
