
I made this sweater for my sister. I used Jamieson and Smith 2 ply Jumper Weight and 3.25 mm needles. The colour is Thistle and is much prettier than the pictures show.

I finally finished my son's socks. They are orange slipper socks with a short row heel. I debated about the heel for a long time, that is why it took so long to complete.

So, I find spinning rather interesting. However, I started wondering if was really practical. Can you get the a really good quality of yarn? Is it cost effective? Is it too time consuming.

I've been a member of MWK for 2 1/2 years now and have never ranted about anything or jumped onto a single soap box.

Okay so the latest knitting news...

Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on how you look at the situation, I've been way busy these last couple weeks.

I just got back from a delightful vay-cay in the Albany area with the talented and gracious Aaron, a.k.a. AMBush.

Oh, what the heck, here's a picture of me knitting on a chemo cap with my assistants taking up the rest of the futon.

My knitting has been sporatic at best to completely in hibernation for quite a while. I can't put my finger on why that was or what's up with me now.
