Looking for an easy blanket pattern

Hey I am just getting into knitting though I have not started yet. I have been searching for a pattern for a blanket just one color and all I can ever find are baby blankets.

These are the first time I ever made socks. I'll have to say it wasn't to bad. A lot of trial and error and learning.
