I just finished a beautiful cardigan from a recent Rowan magazine. The problem I have now is that I have to sew 10 large push snaps to the front of it.

So, having finished that evil BSJ, I am off to work on the Carlito Cardigan. I think I must be getting used to the way I knit and the yarn that I use, Cascade 220.

Aran / 47% wool, 30% acrylic & 23% alpaca. - I love working with this yarn. At first I was sceptical because of the acrylic content but it knits and blocks beautifully.

Very good video about the Scottish sweater (jumper) industry on YouTube. Go to YouTube and type in "Pringle of Scotland Animation by David Shrigley - Life Behind The Scenes". You’ll love it.

Here is a photo of a pair of mittens that I have just completed. They are knit using 3.75 mm needles and the yarn is malabrigo merino (colour amoroso).

Hello everyone. A new men's knitting group has started in Ottawa at Knit Knackers - 299 Bank St in Ottawa, Wednesday evenings from 5-7.
Well it's been a long time. My computer crashed and I took my time getting another one. Unfortunately I've missed posting several projects, but what can I say? This is a slip stitch rug I made.

I'm finishing a sweater in Rowan Big Wool for a client. It is knit on US 15's. I feel like I am knitting with Dildos. Very pointy, cheap, hollow, plastic dildos. Ick ick ick.

Here are the finished felted boots The group will continue so I am doing a second pair - it is easier than the BF sweater for sure.
