Well, Well, Well...

LOVE this stuff!!!! It's so fun and creative: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=32631

I met Mathew Gnagi, a young designer in New York several weeks ago at Annie And Company in NYC. We were talking last weekend and he showed me a recent design of his.

I remember seeing a post about someone who made a project bag from a pair of old Carhartt pants. The zipper of the pants was used as the zipper for the bag. Does anyone remember it?

hey boys,

somehow I was able to finish this entire sweater in 9 days - I am a bit amazed that I got it completed so quickly!

Update: I added a pic of the original design from the vintage pattern book. Thanks for all of the positive comments!!!

Start: 14th July 2009
Finish: 14th August 2009
Needles: 4 mm / 80 cm Addi Turbos
Yarn: Wollmeise "Molly"; 100% superwash Merino; colourway "Kornblume"
Pattern: Joukahainen by Kristel Nyberg. Published in Finnish in the magazine Ulla 03/07. Pattern is available as an English translation as Ravelry download.
Name: "Joukahainen Ruiskukasta" should say something along the line of "Joukahainen out of Cornflower" (I'm just playing on the colourway name).
Modifications: Alternating the skeins after every second round to spread out the pooling.

I'm visiting NYC in september/october and I'm looking for places where the knitting guys go out and buy ther yarns and supplies. Who has any ideas?
