I've got a class to teach in Atlanta all next week.
Are there any yarn shops I should visit while I'm there?
Anything else exciting I should make sure to do?

This is some nice yarn that looks like Malabrigo or even Manos del Uruguay which I found very useful for my hats because of the softness.

Latest scarf - and hopefully last - for a while!

Here is a picture of my next project. It is a cardigan for one of my roommates. So far I have the front and back and just a couple of inches on the right sleeve.

I'm about to embark on my next ridiculous project but I'm trying to plan this one out in advance.

just finished in between project for friend's bday gift. it was free download found at http://smariek.blogspot.com designed by s.m. kahn

So simple is good I suppose - simple designs knit quickly, are great for last minute gifts, and don't require an extraordinary amount of time or focus.

What can I say - they just keep crowding the space between my ears.
I've signed up for a lace exchange and am hoping to knit up the center of this as a square doily for the exchange.

What is it with us and directions. Do we have some gene that inhibits our ability to read/ask for directions?
