So, I finally got my scarf exchange scarf sent off. I went to my parent’s house on Tuesday and my father sent it off for me, I am young, I have never figured out the whole post office thing.
I'm doing the fisherman's hat from the book "Knitting with Balls" (knitting for men)
I'm supposed to start decreasing, assuming that I have 72 cast-on stitches in a certain pattern
...

So, I finished my first hat. It turned out way too big. If I pull it down it goes to my chin. :-) So, since I followed the pattern for a 22" head, my gauge must be off I guess.

Thought you all might find this interesting.

This picture makes little Justice to the beautiful scarf. It is Jacob's ladder made with fall colors and with Malabrigo.

I bought a book of "Herbert Niebling's" lace patterns today, on a site on line. Oh I can hardly wait to tackle some of them......got to get this crocheting out of the way first....or do I lol

I was blogging on knitting a Toddler sized Tomten jacket...and presuming that it would take less than a day for me to knit. Then I thought... Why not have a MWK charity knit day...

This is my most ambitious project yet. I am happy with the results...made it to wear to Colorado for a visit this winter.

Not sure how many people are aware of knittingfool.com.
So there I was at Home Depot looking for some air filters and just poking around when I happened across the tool box section.
