I have been making the Beer gloves from Son of Stitch n Bitch for the last week....and I hate them. The pattern in the book makes NO SENSE, and has numerous errors and no errata sheet.

Happy new years all!

This is the first time I have posted to MenWhoKnit.com. I am a self-taught knitter who has spent the last 3 months making 12 pairs of socks as Christmas gifts. I am now tired of making socks!

First, I would like to thank the community here for all of their support regarding my new blog in the online fiberarts community. It's been very welcome, and thanks for all the feedback!

Hope everyone listen to this week's "The Belle of the Ball" knitting/Music Podcast by Shrill.

I haven't seen very many updates posted for the Scarf Exchange, so I thought that I'd post one.

I got the idea for this from Barbara Walker's "A Fourth Treasury of Knitting Patterns" (see page 127). The lace pattern is number 33 on page 117.

Has anyone done a sweater using shaped steeks as described in the book Knitting in the Old Way? I wonder whether the sleeves would hang correctly and if there would be excess fabric under the arms?

I am making this scarf and am not sure how long to make it. Being somewhat dressy, I'm not sure if the normal long length would be appropriate. I'm not yet sure who I'm going to give it to.

Just finished this pair of red socks.
