
I wanted to try something to challenge me and since it was summer i thought i would work in cotton. This sweater is from Men In Knits by Tara Jon Manning and the pattern is knitted flat.

Well, I'm a bit late, but I'm done!

Right...I bought some wool I really loved a few months ago but now that my scarf is almost finished I have to honestly say I don't really like it anymore...as the wool itself is allready pretty garish

It is starting to get a little colder here in Chicago and I told my Girlfriend I would knit her a scarf. She is pretty excited about it and I want to really impress her with a cool pattern....

So I managed to get up early to stand in a very long queue for the start of London’s I Knit Day 2008 exhibition on Saturday. With the exception of a couple of trips to yarn stores, this is the closest I’ve come so far to admitting that I’m a [whispers] “man who knits”.

I finally finished the Koolhaus Hat. I have made a few of these now and I really enjoy working the pattern. Has anyone else made one?

I got a call yesterday from a very dear, long time friend of the family (she attended my late father's first birthday party!). Jeanne is in her 80's...
