I made a cute little lamb this weekend during a knit class in Monrovia, CA with Janice Rosema - he was so much fun to make... and I LOVE the Ozark Handspun yarn

I started working on the Forest Canopy Shawl about a month ago and soon discovered that I couldn't talk and knit lace at the same time. Not wise just before all or the summer company arrived.

Dear gurus....

Got my exchange scarf finished a couple of days ago so thought I'd share a couple of pics. It's knit in Misti Baby Alpaca and is buttery soft.

Here is a pic of the scarf I will be sending to my spoilee. It is knitted from Malabrigo yarn in a colorway called Verdeazul. The picture does not do the color justice.

I really had a wonderful time making this scarf for my spoilee. I learned a lot (this was the first attempt at doing cables) about myself and about the joy of sharing.

Okay Everyone, this is a LONG POST.

This is the scarf for my scarf exchange....it's still in process - hence the guard dog!

I'm probably the last person to know about this trick, but just in case I'm not, learning this was a revelation and made cables just one more stitch instead of a chore for me.

Draft of a mini-tutorial I'm working up. attached as pdf.
So - does it make sense? Questions? Suggested additons/changes?
