Last September, our beautiful three year old Tibetan mastiff, Kodiak, died from unexpected complications during a routine spay operation.
As you know, I gave up on casting on to DPNs for a while and I just started a scarf project. It is coming along really well. It is a 'no frills' model.

This is a picture of an Emu Egg. The colors are almost identical to the hand painted yarn I am using to make a scarf for my spoilee, hope he likes it.

This is what I decided on for my scarf recipient. Hard choice! I haven't decided on a pattern yet, but I think it needs to be really simple to show off the subtle colors of the yarn. Hmm...

Finished up my second project, a fisherman's rib hat to match the scarf I made earlier.

In a fit of excitement, I installed a lightbox module to view images on the site. The best place to check it out is, of course, the image galleries.

I've admittedly not had much of a visible presence on the site in far too long and wanted to take a few minutes to share what it is that I've been up to.

Thanks so much Stuart for taking this on!

Making progress. The next hexagons will add to the length. Don't know if you can tell, but the cables get one twist looser going from the center out, making the central "star" bigger.
I've jumped into a knitalong put on by my LYS involving a rectangular lace shawl.
