
Well I finally finished and put together the baby sweater I have had hanging around. Its for my partner's great(grand?) niece.

Well this is the first piece that I've ever blocked and let me tell you it was frightening. This is the Prarie Shawl form Folk Shawls done in Cascade 220 (no color name on the label) #8 needles.

Tomorrow's Friday and that's my new favorite day. There's a *great* knitting circle up in Kent, CT at "Enchanting Yarns and Things". They've recently expanded and it's all just so delectable.

Here sitting on the truck box of my Ranger is a "Men Who Knit" philosophers hat. A small start but it begins a wonderful journey.

I once bought a single skein of Rowan Ribbon Twist. I love it, and the colors, but don;t know what I can make out of a single skein of it. Any ideas?

Mes Swansen, in "A Gathering of Lace", describes how she hangs a shawl with a sideways knitted on garter stitch border over a 4" dowel suspended between two cupboards to block it.

I'm working on my first pair of Argyle socks. I've done a bit of intarsia in the past, but not much. I'm more into texture and less into color. Mostly because color just scares the crap out of me.
