So...I got around to knitting my new dog a toy (mostly cause i was bored)... was thinking of making him an octopuss, but what came out was more squid-like.

a super fun and easy pattern to do - mindless, really - I am using up a bunch of random yarns, including homespun and the yarn I had made out of Winky (my cat's fur) and Dakota (one of our dogs) from
Two pics of Cobblstone.
Hi everyone, two pics of my Cobblstone sweater. I'v begun another for a friend but it is taking much longer as it is in fingering weight yarn.

Any guys in the Tampa Bay area interested in starting a men's knitting circle?

One last photo just to illustrate how fearless our Quaker...or our cat can be. I apologize for taking up space with non-knitting stuff.

Since I've had a few questions about my Bird, I thought I would introduce her. She is an 11 year old Quaker Parrot. Her name is Queen Esmeralda, but her nickname is Izzy.

After seeing the fabulous Column Of Leaves scarf that Steve Lyle had done, I was so intrigued by the pattern that I wanted to try one too.
