I had finally finished up all my Christmas projects and decided to concentrate on my sock knitting.

I recently had a hankering to knit a pair of socks using DPNs, despite my love of circular needles.

Since money is so tight this year; slow sales in the pottery business, I solicited friends and relatives to send me skeins of there favorite yarns.

I'm looking to do my first sweater. I'm no good at sewing and don't want to put the effort into something and have it come out bad. I am interested in doing a vest (no sleeves).

i was given one skein, 3.5 oz, 1093 yds, of hand painted silk super fine finger weight yarn. i wanted t make some lace, but wondered how much is needed for a shawl.

I am looking into learning how to hand spin my own yarn. I would like to start with a drop spindle. I wondered if anyone had a suggestion of a reputable site that sells drop spindles?

So here I sit all snowed in. The snow here is deaper than the ground clearance on my Honda Element, so here I sit. I still have to work, producing a new web store for work.

The Double Dishcloth Shawl
Well, I've finished the scarf for my spoilee; but, I've yet to hear from them. So, if you haven't written you may be the one...

I would like to wish all the best things:
- more energy and "four hands for knitting"
