how do you post a pic in the calendar site in the gallery? I can't figure it out. If anyone has figured out how to do it, let me knowl Thanks.

Unless I'm missed it - and Google isn't working properly - not much has been posted on the site about Erika Knight's new book Men's Knits, A New Direction. I picked a copy up last night at my LYS last night and think it's great.

I keep seeing scarves like this in the stores.... I like it a lot, and it seems like a good way to use up a few loose ends of yarn, but how to attack it?

I started my spoilee's scarf for the scarf exchange. Bulky Lamb's pride in Onyx, Charcoal Heather, and Brite Blue in a Mosaic pattern by Janet Pittman.

Frustration ahead - pardon the vent.

Have just finished my crew-neck raglan sweater from Ann Budd's "Knitter's Handy Book of Sweater Patterns". The first FO I think I've posted here.

Dug into my stash of Shetland wool and found some oatmeal and broom heather. I'm knitting a Scandinavian type hat with a plain hem for extra warmth over the ears. Fun to do.
