So here is the first and only tease of my scarf exchange fun. I won't tell you who it is for, but I will tell you that it has lots of cables and it is killing me with how slow it is going.

Hi all. After about a year of not knitting, I have started knitting again. A friend of mine asked me to make him a "Rainbow" scarf.

Yesterday, I realized once again how grateful I am to have the Men Who Knit site.

hopefully....some of the pictures will look like this....(grin)

Me again. I am doing a scarf simple garter stitch. Someone said that to make the edge cleaner, they recommend slipping the first stitch. Do you slip this knitwise or purlwise.

Hope everyone at MWK has a very Happy Thanksgiving!!! I am very Blessed to have my family with me today and very Thankful also. Hope you all are with the ones you love and are close to.

I'm working on the sweater a little here and there as I find the time. I now have the sleeve stitches on holders and am working the rest of the body. It's coming along slowly but surely.

Well, guys, as you all may know...I am an avid knitter...duh. LOL. Well, you may or may not know that I love to cook and bake. So, for this Thanksgiving I thought I'd try a new dessert.

My sanity survived the Ordeal by Nupps and Evelyn A Clark's Swallowtail shawl is finished.
I noticed that the chat is a bit clunky, and would like to offer if the site gods would accept, a home for the chat room on my Private, low traffic IRC network.
