I've been promising to make my daughter something since I started knitting. I finally got around to it. I'm surprised at how fast it went, and the vine and leaf were fun.

I realize I just posted about this, but I am excited. I move into my new place (which still smells like cat pee) and I get internet back, and I finish this project too.

Go to www.colinknits.blogspot.com and scroll down to the posting called "Brilliant!". Watch the video - it's great!

It's hard to tell in the video, but the lady is doing just what the subject states: knitting at a concert in the dark while dancing: http://vimeo.com/1863202

Just finished is Hanami Stole by Melanie Gibbons for the 60th birthday of one of my friends. The yarn is laceweight merino/cashmere from ColourMart UK and was knitted on a 3.25mm circular needle.

So this is my other WIP at the moment. A woman I met at lunch with a co-worker asked me to make a hat for her 18 month old daughter.

So I am back at school now, and have been trying to get all my class stuff figured out. I haven't had internet, which is why no one has seen me lately.

Today has been a heavy knitting day.

Ok, I apologize in advance.....

thought this downloaded...guess not. Sorry it's sideways.
