Due to business and absent-mindedness (but mainly absent-mindedness), this post is finally going up much later than I'd intended. Nevertheless!!!

Since I have quite a bit of yarn (Bernat Baby Coordinates) left over from my daughter's scarf, I decided to knit a newborn cap for our 2nd child (due March 13th).

Taking a break from hats, I've just started on a pair of socks. The yarn is Seacoast Handpainted in color "fire & coal." I had to go down to size 0 needles for this.

This morning a work colleague gave me her mother's old knitting books. Amoung them is a book from England called "Stitchcraft", no date.

Here are some pics of the yarns I purchased from Blackberry Ridge.

I've been waiting to get a picture of this one. It's nice, not my favorite accomplishment ever, but it's nice. It's loved, too.
Just the Danica pattern from knitty.com

Yesterday, Bill (WJBDineen) and I visited Blackberry Ridge Woolen Mill outside of Mt. Horeb, WI (near Madison, WI). They do mostly custom batches.

I just finished this for our gang. It was a fairly quick knit, finished it in about 6 hours. So far Tippy has dominated it, Guess I'll have to make more.

We have two cats, Osiris and Apollo. One in particular, Apollo, likes to sit with me while I'm knitting.

Hello everyone,
