Okay, some of you may recall the blue one of these I knitted a few months back and how I lamented that although I stitched it perfectly, the depth was far less than I'd wanted or anticipated.

I now have four friends that have had baby's in the last two - three months. Now i am making baby stuff. I hate the single colors and simple designs of these projects.

Awhile ago, teejtc started a tradition of giving away some free stuff to a random person that expressed interest.

Looking back I realized that it has been a year since I've posted to this site. I've been commenting to others, but nothing new myself. So I figured a post of W.I.P.S.

It's such a beautiful day here in Atlanta. Sunshine, not too cool, not too hot, and a nice breeze blowing.

Received a few comments about my "Yarrrn!" shirt suggestion and I wanted to clear the air.

I just had a look at the attachments to my latest 3 blog entries and I see the photos are the size of a house. I didn't realise it when I up-loaded them.

Here it is - the grandpappy of Fair Isle knitting books by the grand dame (she should be given an OBE for this work!) of Fair Isle knitting herself: Alice Starmore.

Another Alice Starmore book is The Celtic Collection - 25 Knitwear Designs for Men and Women; hardcover, 1992; 144 pages; out of print.

Recently I purchased a number of knitting books. This one is Tudor Roses by Alice Starmore; 1998; soft cover; 126 pages; out of print now.
