I have never made a scarf on the round. I already I have encountered the changing of colors to be one of the challenges it gives us as crafters. A machine can do this without problems.

Yay! Knitters Uncensored episode #06 is out!!! Go download and listen!

It was frogged and recasted and it is done. The color is not as it looks. I actually like this color is a lime Green, not as neon as it looks.

My very first time exploring Google's video search site, and what popped up as "recently added" but a fantastic explanation of the Kitchner Stitch! Well done, easy to see, and clearly explained:

Ok, my first felted project actually came out quite well!

So, I've finished one side of the anklets that I knit from one of my own hand-dyed. And as you all have expressed the wish to see it knit up, I just can't resist....
...so, here it is:
Started: 30th July 2007
Finished: Half-way on 09th August 2007
Yarn: Regia 4-ply, Hand-dyed by me (75% superwash virgin wool, 25% polyamid; 50 g / 210 m)
Needle: 2.5 mm/100 cm Lang Needles (comparable to Addi Turbos)
Pattern: Universal Toe-up Sock using Magic Cast-On
The colours in the yarn itself vary so greatly...this is even more so pronounced when the sock is knit up. From the right and the left side of the same sock, the colours are just totally different!
The colours are as close as I can get in such bad lighting environment we have today (rain and rain and overcast and grey)...it was with my mad touch-up skillz(TM) that I can get this result. (@ ISO 400, hence the graininess).
Anyway, y'all have a great weekend!

This is another step into the workings of knitting. I often find that making dishcloths or washcloths is a great way of learning a stitich.

I like the way that this turned out. One of the projects that I'm working on THIS month is some diaper shirts for preemies.

Last night I went to my first (of many) meetings of Men's Knit Night at Knitty City here in New York City.
I am new to this site...and this is my first try to send some pictures and words! I find this site very interresting and amusing..:D!
