I have to tell you that Bishop's yarn in Chatsworth, CA is going to have a HUGE yarn sale this coming week - they have already put out the yarn and it's ready to go - they open on Tuesday at 10AM - I think they're selling all the "fun fur/funny/railroad, etc." yarn for $2 a ball - on Thursday the actual sale hits, and they'll be selling it all for $1 a ball!!!!) - I'll be there on Saturday to help out, but I did my pre-purchasing today while we set everything up - it's an amazing opportunity for those of us who like novelty yarns (even to bulk up our stashes) - for charity knitting, scarves, hats, baby things, whatever..
I can't guarantee the pricing of the sale, but I CAN guarantee if you like eyelash type yarn or fuzzy stuff, you'll be in HEAVEN!
if you're in the area, make sure you visit!
hugs

Here is a scarf I recently completed using Mario's pattern. The yarn is Lion Brand Homespun in Grape. I used size 15 needles and the whole scarf took only half a skein. I'm currently working on another one with the same type of yarn but the color is called Waterfall. The stitch patten and the color combination make the scarf look like a waterfall! Stay tuned for pics.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Not too long ago, I saw an ad for knitting clamps in a magazine. I'm just finishing a sweater, and I hate using pins to keep pieces together while sewing. The advert showed these clamps were designed for holding knitted pieces together while assembling. After seeing the ad, I even visited the website, but didn't buy and forgot to bookmark, and I can't remember the name of the company. Google has been no help. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'd appreciate any tips.
