Kilt socks

I'm knitting kilt socks for my son...the first sock was a reject because it was too tight at the top when I tried it on...so I started over and added two more cables and it's fine.....

I've adapted a basic sock pattern... and it took a while to determine how many extra stitches were needed to accomodate the cables.
...now I can do variations in the cable designs and have fun!
 
I'm using a double strand of yarn on #5 needles ...and will switch to single strand and smaller needles for the foot... just as soon as I finish turning the heel...(I hope)

Working On New Website

My buddy who is also my roommate and I are building our website.  The name of it isn't official yet but we're thinking we might call it Cool Guy's Knit.  Anyway this website is going to serve as our storefront for selling the hats, scarfs and jewelry that we make.  It's also going to have photo galleries of places we have both traveled to, a tatoo photo gallery, pages relating to trance music, some affiliate stuff and lot's of other cool things.  We are hoping to launch the site officially by January 2006 but it could be later. 

I'll post the address to the site later on after I've had a chance to get more work done on it :-)
