Orange Crush

It took 3 tries, but I finally got a good start on the back of my first sweater.  I'm knitting the orange zip-front cardigan from the 1st issue of Knit.1.  I'm using the suggested yarn, Wool-Ease chunky in Pumpkin.  (It's not as bright as it looks in the picture.)  It's very exciting to watch it take shape.  I've got about 10 more rows before I start shaping the arm holes.  I'll post more as it moves along.

NY Knit Out

Hi guys

I was at the Knit Out from 1 PM to 5:15. Phew. The was never ending of folk wanting to learn how to knit and across the way was an equally long line waiting to learn how to crochet.
Oh and as I was leaving one of the organizers told me that I was the first male teacher!!!!!!!!
Then I went to Boys Night at The Point as usual on a Sunday evening. A fun long day knitting for me.
Tomorrow I start my first Knitting afterschool class!
 I love knitting
