Yesterday at lunch break I hit two of the yarn shops here in my city. I got some really nice koigu with bright orange. I've enough left of the alpaca to do the toes in the bright red. (see the attachments)

I finished my entrelac scarf!!!!! It turned out better than I thought I really like it now. I used Red Heart Soft yarn. The color is Waterscape. Some people were asking me if I watched any videos the answer is yes I did before I started these are the ones i watched it is a 2 part video:

I've finished the first one, and it turned out much better than I'd expected.

Finished my first cuff to cuff project for my grandmother. Not that difficult and a great project that I didn't have to pay much attention.

These are "jaywalker" socks....a FREE pattern by Grumperina on Ravelry. They were knit on one 12" Addi circular needle, Size 2.5 mm,and DP's for heel and toe. This is a fun top-down pattern that adds an extra dimension to random dyed yarn.l

Yeah, I cast on something new because I couldn't imagine working on one of the items in progress. I have fallen to another spring's case of the startitis even though I recognized the signs and symptoms but was defenseless in its path. This is the Apples For the Trees yarn I had plyed up this last week. I am knitting the Age of Brass and Steam Kerchief.

for my daughter, Sarah. Sarah gets the medical supplies out to MSF and relief NGO's when the first reports come in of human suffering, deadly conflicts, atrocities and disease. I get heartsick when I read of people who have nothing to worry about except a cranky Iphone not getting a signal or the upload time on Tyfany-Amber's Roku is shorter...as if!!!!

A pair of toe-ups. The reverse Dutch heel still looks like nipples on my heels but I'll block them now. :-) They would have been identical twins but for a knot that appeared as i was doing the cuff. If i were really anal i could have wound ahead. But I'm not that anal.

Now I have to finish my Brethrens....
