Last Friday I was snowed in, so I went "stash diving" and found this Knit
Picks "Wool of the Andes" and started a top down raglan. The colors are
"grizzly heather" and "opal heather"....warm and cool...earth and sky.

My school district canceled school today, so I busied myself getting a project done for a friend of mine. Initially, I was just planning on doing the socks, but had enough yarn left over to do a hat as well. So, he gets both. I tried something different with the socks. I used the heavy worsted wool, but instead of using the recommended US7 or US8 needles, I used US5.

This is a pair I finished a few weeks ago. The yarn is Felici that I got from Knit Picks. The colorway is Rainbow which they currently have back-ordered.
Only about 6 more rounds of pattern to go (8") and I'll be done with this bad boy.
This weekend I went on a retreat at Saint Gregory's monastery in Three Rivers MI... I actually knitted in public at the guesthouse.
We have actually gotten a bit more snow than normal this year. I woke up to a bit of a white world for three weekends in a row again this morning.
Does anyone have the pattern for the Warm Thoughts Throw? I used to have the pattern. Problem is I'm only half way done with the blanket. Google doesn't help. Nor does Ravelry.
