Lovely Simple Lace Being Blocked

I've completed the lovely simple lace spring scarf I've been working on. (See previous post on same title for pattern). Silk and cashmere - lovely fibre with a great feel. Soft and light weight. I blocked it today and it is drying. It will be off the rack tomorrow and I'll get a finished picture then. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I put a new scarf on the needles.

WORKS IN PROGRESS

So, what are you guys working on this weekend? I have two things currently on the needles that I'm working on. One is another pair of socks for my friend Mark. I think I like this yarn better than the yarn I used for the other pair I knit for him. The other thing I'm working on is a hat in left-over sock weight yarn.

Yahoo Accounts Compromised

I just heard a report on the news here in Chicago that Yahoo email customers' email accounts may have been compromised. It is suggested that you immediately change your password for any Yahoo account that uses your email password. I have just changed mine.

Hugs!
Mark

Simple Cowl

You can tell when I am homebound because of snow and cold. I knit like a madman! I made a cowl out of a Berroco yarn similar to the scarf I made. It's a bulkier weight, so I used US10 needles and, again like the scarf, I simply did a 2x2 rib. Ken, I used the miraculous bind off you mentioned and it worked well.

fixing mistakes in lace?

Somewhere, in the last week, I read an article, with great pictures, of how someone dropped stitches and re-knitted row by row using coloured pins for each row.
Does that sound familiar to anyone?
Can't find the article.

"Daniel" and extra large Fair Isle Hat

A friend of mine loves acrylic yarn hats. I only make hats for him as it is a fun venue and I get to play with different synthetic yarns, specifically acrylics. I make hats for him and he does appreciates them a lot. This pattern is my own, "Daniel" it is brought up to 152 sts on worsted weight Paton's Canadiana.

Stretchy Bind Off Suggestions Needed

I have finished the torso of my sweater and now need to do a stretchy bind off 1x1 rib. I have used Jenny's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind off on socks and it gives a bit of a ruffled edge, small but still there. I am wondering if there is another stretch bind off that doesn't give that effect. I don't think I need it to be that stretchy either. What have you all used?
