Shawlette - Spinoff Winter 2010 Off the Needles - Blocked & Done

Good Morning Guys,

Well the NEw Zealand Possum Shawlette came off the needles this morning. The one skein of Possum I had was not enough to complete the project so I paired it with a cranberry color wool from my stash to complete the boarder. It is Lanaloft 100% wool from the Brown Sheep Company. Now all I need to do is block it this afternoon. I post a complete picture when she dries.

Possum Yarn Anyone?

Good Evening Guys,

Well the Noro Sweater I've made for myself is all seamed together and I only have to sew in the zipper tomorrow so I should be getting a photo of the finished product on the blog tomorrow. I am really please with the way it turned out.

Joben's Back - Jane Ellison's Noro Men

Good Evening All,

Well the back for Jane Ellison's pattern Joben came off the needles just before supper. Thought you'd enjoy seeing the progress. It measures 22" wide X 27-1/2" long. Now I've got a major decision to make. Do I do it as a pull over as she designed it or put a zipper down the front as I have been contemplating. I think I'll sleep on it and see how I feel in the morning.

designing boxers

Good Evening All,

Here is a picture of the first leg of a pair of ribbed boxers that I am designing. I let you know how the they progress. As you can see from the photo the fiber is Wisdom Yarn's Poems Socks which is 75% superwash wool and 25% nylon. Needle size being used is 3.00 mm.

Regards to all,
