Mmario designed this shawl from a picture of of “The Courtyard of the Maidens” Alcázares Reales de Sevilla, and named it for my wife.

I have a neighbor who has done so much to help my wife and I as we struggle with my illness. So I finally made a shawl for her.

I just completed a baby blanket for my first grandson (who was born yesterday!). It is the "Laughing Cat Shawl" design from Mmario.

After 14 months I've finished the Wedding Peacock wedding veil design from MMario.

You may remember I posted a pic of a red Valentine's Day shawl I made for my wife. She loved it but wished it had a ruffly edge.

Well it's been just over a year since I started this wedding veil. And, my daughter's had 3 new boyfriends since then so I guess there's no hurry.

I have seen a pattern for a log cabin (dishcloth I believe) that starts out with the traditional square but then each of the subsequent "rectangles" are more pie slice shaped so that it forms a swirl

I started with yarn and a needle size that would have made this a shawl for an elephant!
