Hi all - it appears my brain disorder created confusion when knitting what should have been a very simple lap throw. It's not bad, and I'm sure the lady I made it for will enjoy it's warmth. It's a simple stockinette stitch, but when finished drop every 5th stitch (leaving 4 stockinette stitches). Then I picked up the stitches on the outside and did a modified (no bobble) Jared Flood Juneberry Triangle shawl border. Somehow I ended up having one end perfect and the other end with fewer repeats of the border.
Well, I'm among the living and decided to post.
This is the Highlands Shawl from Cheryl Oberle's book, Folk Shawls.
I just completed my first Niebling pattern for a table runner! Woo-hoo!
I used 600 yards of Encore acrylic yarn on US size 8 needle to make this newborn sized blanket.
I knit this scarf using 100% bamboo yarn on a US #6 needle. It is a broken rib stitch pattern - then hearts knitted onto one end.
I just completed this Woodland's Shawl. A very easy lace and quick knit.
